The police arrest ganja gang and also seized 100kg plus illegal products. Originally, ganja is known in English as Marijuana, which spoils health and also illegal to use because of addiction. Police informs the public and press that on the evening of Feb 5, 2022 at around 16.00 hours, organized vehicle checking. The vehicle moving towards Hyderabad during the process, and the police team intercepted the vehicle bearing No. KA-14-C-2477 Swift Desire. Upon thorough search in the vehicle, the team apprehended the accused Mohammed Ansar son of Mr. Suleman, age: 19 yrs, His occupation is of an accountant in Mass Medalist Company, Mumbai.
Ansar is the resident of Kerala, Flat No. 05, Second floor, Adka Homes. Also arrested Mr. Hassainar son of Podiyabba, age: 42 Yrs. His occupation is taxi driving, car bearing no. KA-14C-2477. He’s a resident of New Safa Manzil, Meenadhi House, Kinya Post, Manglore district, Karnataka state. Seized 100kg plus illegal possession; matters most than the worth or price of such unlawful possession. Any unlawful possession has no value. That needs to be set on fire or buried. However, according to the police, the ganja or marijuana gang arrested along with contraband worth ₹46,50,000, which includes:

- Dry Ganja or Marijuana 100 KGs
- Hashis Oil or kind of drug oil, an illegal or unlawful product – 10 liters,
- One Swift Desire Car bearing No. KA-14C-2477
- Three mobile phones
During the interrogation it is revealed that the accused along with five others 1) Faizal, 2) Kabeer, 3) Murthy, 4) Shaik Abdulla, 5) Nowshad formed a gang. Started operating as an inter state drug smuggling group and sourcing the contraband from lambasingi via Rajamandry, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mangalore to Kerala. The police arrest ganja gang involved in doing smuggling for the last two months. It was learned that the ganja gang were able to smuggle the contraband to Kerala from lambasingi area last month also.
Their modus operandi includes a vehicle piloting the main vehicle to identify any interruption from the police. Avoiding toll gates and moving through secret road routes to be hidden from the police.
Value or worth: ₹46,50,000. The worth maybe lakhs or crores, but illegal property means unlawful products always have ZERO ₹ worth.
