The Indian democracy already taken a last breathe since 2014. Many cases of mob lynching and heinous crimes like rapes and hate speeches involving the Delhi riots ignored. The modus operandi of the BJP govt is to circulate misinformation and fake reports to create hatred. Hate speeches like genocide calls and almost every misinformation ignored. Mohammed Zubair of Alt News already got several emails from Twitter.
The social media giant used to inform Zubair as BJP’s big supporters used to file cases against Zubair to suspend his Twitter account. However, Twitter never believed this and used to send him emails about such claims. His account is still active and he’s arrested. What a joke!
Mohammed Zubair with the Twitter id: @zoo_bear used to work hard as much as possible, fairly. He’s fair and right and used to condemn hatred and he was so brave that he was inclined towards bringing out truth. His work continued to make people aware of facts rather than digest fake news. It’s not surprising that fake reports always look like breaking and shocking reports, which often go viral.
The work of Zubair was to not highlight fake reports to go viral further, but to check it as much as his fact-checks disclose misinformation. So, it was good for one and all to know what’s true and what’s false from wherever and from any community.
However, mostly the BJP’s supporters create fake reports, and so they dislike Zubair. The disliking of Zubair of Alt News by BJP’s supporters lead him to be arrested. This is pure hypocrisy and a way to defend spread of hatred and misinformation. Almost every Indian, who do no believe in creating hatred and condemns spreading of hatred stands with Zubair with the hash tag trending as #zoobear.
Furthermore, it’s against the constitution if people served with what’s right and what’s false are arrested one by one. If this goes on, then India would serve all hatred in support of the central govt or BJP. It’s highly condemned.
All good people in India have been involved on Twitter to support Mohammed Zubair of Alt News. However, how long he would be in prison, only time will tell. Hope he would be released soon because nothing is against him, and he’s far more clean and clear to check misinformation and bring out the facts.
