Still Pakistan holds the hosting rights and the six nation tournament would be held in a neutral venue other than Pakistan. If even one of them were to miss the Asia Cup 2023 and the 2023 ODI World Cup, it would give the impression that Pakistan is sending a B team to these important tournaments.

The schedules for both the ODI World Cup and the Asia Cup, both set to take place in 2023, have not yet been released. If three of top Pakistan cricket players choose to not participate, Pakistan’s B team will likely play in these major tournaments.
